If you had the chance to leave earth to go live on another planet, would you? Here's the catch though, you would have to be frozen in order to get there because the arrival time is two hundred fifty years into the future. That's the choice seventeen year old Amy had to make. She ended up leaving everything she's ever known for the unknown with her parents. Years later (like two hundred) she gets a rude awakening from her frozen slumber fifty years earlier then when she was supposed to be awaken because someone tried to kill her and others.
Sixteen year old Elder is learning how to be a leader on the ship "God's Speed" the generation he will lead will be the one of the first who lands on the new planet. Eldest, the currant leader gave him an assignment that called for the library where the librian with the mysterious scar showed him blue prints of the ship. So when he finds parts of the ship he's never heard of before he went exploring. That's when he found Amy.
They soon team up to find the killer and uncover the secrets of a two hundred something year old rocket ship that's in the middle of space.
This book was wayyyyy cool. Its full of mystery and suspence. It tells a fantastic story full of suprises. The main characrters are brave and funny. I'll admit some parts are sad but its an epic read. So tell me what you think.

The Lost Hero of Olympus by Rick Riordan
I've always loved mythology, especially Greek. The adventures of
Hercules and Jason always amused me like many others, but in Rick Riordan's
'the Lost Hero of Olympus' there's a new Jason in town and he has a bad case of
amnesia. Finding himself on a school bus with no idea how he got there next to
a girl named Piper (who has a little secret) and a strange guy named Leo (who
works great with tools) he's told that they go to a school for naughty kids but
has no idea how he ended up there.
Jason soon finds out that he has mysterious powers that he can't
explain. Soon having to be rescued by Annabeth Chase and a few other demigods.
They take a trip to camp half blood where everyone's talking about " Greek
Gods " and Jason is referring to them by their Roman names. Now Jason,
Leo, and Piper must go on a quest and discover not only who they are, but who
stole Jason's memory and why.
If you liked the Percy Jackson series, you'll love "The Lost Hero
of Olympus". Its action packed and if you read Rick Riordan's Percy
Jackson series, you'll recognize some old friends. I really liked this book
because it had a Roman twist to it along with Greek and it tied together
perfectly. Read Rick Riordan's "The Lost Hero of Olympus" and tell me
what you think.

City of Ashes by Cassandra Clare
WARNING. DO NOT READ IF YOU HAVE NOT
READ 'THE CITY OF BONES' BY CASSANDRA CLARE. I'M SERIOUS!
So some crazy stuff is going down in
this book, some unbelievable stuff. Finding her mother in a magical comatose
state, Clary Fray is now faced with trying to not only find a way to wake her mother,
but now knowing she's a Shadow Hunter, she's trying to help find the second
mortal instrument. If that wasn't enough, she also finds out that her real
father is actually the most evil man alive, the one and only, Valentine
Morgenstern. (who by the way is supposed to be dead. Just throwing it out
there.) On top of that, Mr. Heart stopper himself, aka Jace Wayland, (or should
I say Morgenstern) is also her brother.
Then, just to really make your head
spin, Simon is in love with her. Whoo! That was a lot and there's still more.
Poor Jace is being accused of helping his father escape. You know, the evil one
who tried to break the peace between the Down Worlders and Nephilim by trying
to slaughter everyone. Then faked his death and went into hiding the past
fifteen years raising Jace till he was ten, fooling everyone in believing that
Jace was Michael Wayland's son, just to fake his death again. Then gathered his
followers and stole the mortal cup and now going after the sword. Yeah, you
know the one. The question is, will he? Valentine wasn't the most nurturing
father, but he was the only one Jace ever knew. Now that his father is back
from the dead and he's being accused of horrible crimes, where will his loyalty
lie? With his long lost dad who seems to be there for him? Or his adopted
family who can't help but feel weary around him?
On top of it, trying to sort
out his feelings for his knew founded sister. It’s a topsy turvy world right
now for our heroes. But 'the City of Ashes' makes an amazing sequel to 'the
City of Bones'. Cassandra Clare can do no wrong. If you read this post without
reading the first book and now your upset because i spilled everything when I warned
you not to. All well. I mean come on, it was in big capital letters. You should
of listened and you can blame no one but yourself. Well guys, read the book and
tell me what you think. I assure you, if you liked 'the City of Bones' you're
going to love 'the City of Ashes".

Steel by Carrie Vaughn
Yo ho, yo
ho a pirate's life for me! Since I was younger, I loved pirates. They didn't
have to answer to anyone, had epic sword fights and never had to worry about
getting grounded. Their lives seemed so exciting. I mean, just look at Captain
Jack Sparrow.
When Jill finds an old broken sword piece, she gets
transported through time to find her self on a ship surrounded by pirates. Now
forced to be part of the crew. Jill soon learns how dangerous the pirate life
can be when she forms a desperate plan to get home by sword fighting with one
of the most dangerous pirates who's ever sailed the seven seas.
'Steel', by
far, has got to be one of the coolest books I’ve ever read. If the pirate's
life calls to you, so will this book. Read Carrie Vaughn's 'Steel' and tell me
what you think.

Fire Storm by David Klass
There's
always that one guy that's great at everything. He's good looking, smart,
exceeds in absolutely everything he does and no matter how much you try not to,
you can't help but like him. That's Jack Daniels. Well at least it was until he
beat his high school rush record.
'Fire
Storm' gave me an important life lesson. If all my life my parents told me not
to call attention to myself, there's usually a good reason for it. Now, because
he did the exact opposite of what he was told, mysterious creatures are hunting
dear old Jack from the future whose soul purpose is to destroy him.
Unless
you live under a rock, you know the world is dying and our future generations
are screwed unless we do something about it now. Its up to Jack to reverse the
abuse the earth has taken before the Turning Point. Which was the only reason
he was sent back from the future. Pretty heavy right? I mean considering he
knows nothing about who he really is or what he's destined for.
If you
want my opinion, this was a cool book. 'Fire Storm' is fast paced with nonstop
action. David Klass gets people aware of the senseless harm we have done to our
beautiful planet. And its up to us now as a whole to fix it before it’s too
late. I recommend this book to you guys because the message this book has is
uber important and should be taken seriously. And did I mention how
ridiculously awesome this book is? Seriously. Read 'Fire Storm' by David Klass
and tell me what you think.

The Summoning by Kelly Armstrong
How would
you react if you hit puberty and you started to see ghosts? Then got sent to a
halfway house diagnosed 'C' for crazy, with people telling you it’s all in your
head. That’s exactly what happened to Chloe Saunders. While she's trying to
figure out if she's crazy or not, she meets some very interesting kids at Lyle
house that just so happens to have a dark mystery surrounding the place. Freaky
right? I for one like this chick. She has some of my qualities. Well, the ones
I find annoying but everyone else loves, but whatever. I mean, for someone whose
life turned completely upside down, she's still her sweet, innocent, nice, movie-loving
self.
Chloe sees her life as a movie, and it makes me feel less weird because I
do the same thing, and all the things heroines usually do to get on someone's
nerves, goes through her head and figures out a way to get out of the
situation. She has a mind of her own. Like I said, she reminds me of me so you
know she's gotta be cool.
Check out Kelly Armstrong's 'the Summoning' and tell
me what you think.
