Across the Universe by Beth Revis

If you had the chance to leave earth to go live on another planet, would you? Here's the catch though, you would have to be frozen in order to get there because the arrival time is two hundred fifty years into the future. That's the choice seventeen year old Amy had to  make. She ended up leaving everything she's ever known for the unknown with her parents. Years later (like two hundred) she gets a rude awakening from her frozen slumber fifty years earlier then when she was supposed to be awaken because someone tried to kill her and others.
Sixteen year old Elder is learning how to be  a leader on the ship "God's Speed" the generation he will lead will be the one of the first who lands on the new planet. Eldest, the currant leader gave him an assignment that called for the library where the librian with the mysterious scar showed him blue prints of the ship. So when he finds parts of the ship he's never heard of before he went exploring. That's when he found Amy.
They soon team up to find the killer and uncover the secrets of a two hundred something year old rocket ship that's in the middle of space.
This book was wayyyyy cool. Its full of mystery and suspence. It tells a fantastic story full of suprises. The main characrters are  brave and funny. I'll admit some parts are sad but its an epic read. So tell me what you think.

Destiny's Hand

"Destiny's Hand is about this girl named Olivia Soldana who yearns for a life of adventure. She's thirteen years old on a trip with her parents to meet the man her father intends for her to marry, and she couldn't be more upset about it. Soon , almost if it was planned, the ship has pirates after them.
After saving her father's life she asks the Gentelman Pirate if she can join his crew, becoming the first female pirate.
This book is pretty cool. You know if your into pirates and adventure and, oh ya, manga. Yes this book is infact a manga, but don't let that change anything. Despite what people say, a manga is in fact a book. "Destiny's Hand" had an epic plot and detailed art. Olivia goes on some pretty awesome adventures and discovers the story of Destiny's Hand.
I recommend this book to anyone who's looking for something new and exciting. If your into manga this'll be right for you. If your starting to get into manga but need the right one to start off with, "Destiny's Hand" would be  a great start.

Morganville Vampires by Rachel Caine

So this girl Clare Danvers is super smart. She’s the kind of smart where if she were evil, we'd all be in some serious trouble. So naturally she graduated high school earlier than most. Of course she wanted to go to college ASAP, but her mother and father wanted her to stay close to home. Big mistake there. Sadly, close to home means going to a small university in teeny-tiny Morganville Texas where evil creatures rule, and I don't mean Monica Morell and her evil killer posse, but vampires. Yes, that’s right folks, another vamp story. But before you jump to conclusions, 'The Morganville Vampires' is definitely not your normal vamp story.

After being forced to find a place off campus to live, Claire is off in town to find a nice place to live. Her new roommates are fantastic and have her back against anything that goes bump in the night. The catch is, one of her roommates has a dirty little secret as bad as the town's.

It’s an epic book for anyone who can stomach mystery, suspense, horror, romance, and pure awesomeness all wrapped up in one. Read Rachel Caine's 'Morganville Vampires' and tell me what you think.
